LAGREE CERTIFICATION
GET CERTIFIED AT BODY POLITIK
LEARN THE METHOD FROM THE HIGHEST STANDARD
Teaching Lagree is more than learning a sequence. It’s understanding the method, mastering the machine and developing the presence, precision and confidence to lead a room.
Our instructor pathway combines official Lagree Level 1 Certification with an optional, highly recommended 6–8 week mentorship program designed to bridge the gap between becoming certified and becoming truly ready to teach.
Whether your goal is to join the Body Politik instructor team or simply deepen your knowledge of the Lagree Method, this is where the work begins.
LAGREE LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION WEEKEND
Your instructor journey begins with Lagree Level 1 Certification—an immersive, technical training designed to build a sophisticated understanding of the Lagree Method from the ground up.
At Body Politik, we believe who you learn from matters. Our certification is led by a Lagree Senior Master Trainer, bringing an elevated level of expertise, experience and precision to your education. You’ll learn directly from one of the method’s most experienced educators while developing the technical foundation required to teach Lagree safely, intelligently and effectively.
The training goes beyond memorizing exercises. You'll study the methodology and science behind Lagree, Megaformer mechanics and safety, anatomy and muscle targeting, precise body positioning, modifications and variations, transitions, sequencing and the fundamentals of effective coaching.
The goal is to understand not only what you're teaching, but why it works—giving you the knowledge to make more intentional decisions once you're leading a room of your own.
Successful completion earns your official Lagree Level 1 Certification and establishes the foundation for your development as an instructor.
BODY POLITIK MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Certification Gives You the Foundation. Mentorship Teaches You to Lead.
Knowing Lagree and knowing how to lead an exceptional Lagree class are two different skills.
Our 6–8 week mentorship program bridges that gap through hands-on practice, individualized feedback, and real-world coaching experience. You’ll refine the skills that define exceptional instruction—from intentional programming, precise cueing and seamless transitions to musicality, presence, form correction and commanding a room.
Through observation, practice teaching, mentor feedback, mock classes, and community teaching opportunities, you’ll develop your own coaching voice while learning the elevated standards behind the Body Politik experience.
Certification is where you learn the method; mentorship is where you learn to lead it.

In our experience, more practice is needed after just completing the certification weekend. Certification gives you the tools – mentorship helps you apply them. Many participants in our program begin teaching shortly after completing both components.
-
Our Mentorship program pairs you with experienced instructors who provide hands-on guidance, personalized feedback and real-world teaching practice, bridging the gap between certification and confidently leading your own classes.
Over the course of six weeks, you’ll begin teaching your own blocks to fellow participants, with support and oversight from lead mentoring instructors on the Body Politik team. Each week builds progressively, delivering bite-sized, digestible skills that layer into a strong, confident teaching foundation.
By the end of the program and in the final two weeks, you’ll advance to teaching mock classes and ultimately a Community Class, which serves as your final audition.
-
We offer approximately 5 timeslots per week for trainees to practice teaching, with a variety of days and times to accommodate different schedules. Many of our participants work full-time, so we make sure to include weekend options.
A typical mentoring schedule might look like:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 1:30-3:30pm, and
Saturday and Sunday from 3-5pm
*times may vary slightly as we are working around our group class schedule
-
You are not expected to attend all sessions or even every week. But we do recommend aiming at attending one to two sessions a week on average. We have found the participants that are able to commit to a consistent schedule of showing up have the most success in their auditions.
-
In many ways, the mentorship program is part of the audition process. It allows us to assess your level of commitment, punctuality, openness to feedback and dedication to growth.
Your formal audition takes place at the end of the 8-week program with a Community Class. This is a complimentary class offered to our community and serves as the final evaluation of your readiness to join our teaching schedule.

Great question and the short answer is no, you do not need to teach at our studio to participate.
Our Certification and Mentorship programs are open to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the Lagree Method and grow as an instructor, regardless of where you plan to teach. Many participants join simply to refine their skills, gain confidence, or bring what they’ve learned into other studios or fitness settings.
While there may be opportunities to teach with us after completing the program, there is absolutely no obligation. You’re welcome to take the experience and apply it wherever it best supports your goals. We would have you complete the 6 weeks and not move on to the mock and Community Class portion of the program.
